You may have seen a physio or sports therapist and received manual treatment, but you will need a rehabilitation programme if you want to restore full function.

Very often the rehabilitation programmes given are just generic exercises on paper. 

My programmes are different!

With over 20 years experience in a clinical sports therapy practice, I know that the most important part of the rehab process takes place outside of the clinic. Sports massage treatments and manual therapies are of course beneficial, but they are passive, whereas, rehab exercises help the body to correct itself in an active manner. Passive treatments are therapeutic but teach the body nothing and therefore require frequent repetition.

If we teach the body how to correct itself, we can promote more efficient healing, prevent injury re-occurrence, and reduce the financial burden of regular clinic visits.

I will send you login details to access the members area of my website, where you will complete some questionnaires to provide details of your injury/pain cause and current status. We will then arrange a 30 minute online consultation where I will find out more details and assess your mobility and any postural discrepancies that may be contributing to your problem.

Following the consultation, I will design your personal rehabilitation programme, which you will be able to access on your digital devices.  Your programme will include videos of all your rehabilitation exercises to make sure you know exactly how to do them and a calendar so that you know exactly when to do them and when to progress.

We will have a follow-up consultation after 3 weeks to ensure that you are making desired improvements and to adjust the final phase of rehab accordingly.
